1. Who we are
Compare Accountancy is a trading name of Next Gen Lead Accelerator Limited, incorporated and registered in England and Wales with the company number 17204604.
2. These Terms of Business
This document gives details of our Terms of Business. Please note that these apply in addition to the terms of website use, which you may consult at Terms of Website Use. You may want to print off a copy and keep it with your records.
In keeping with industry convention, we do not require you to sign or countersign or otherwise indicate agreement to these Terms of Business. However, you are deemed to agree to them, and to be bound by them, if you engage The Accountancy Centre to act for you or your business.
3. Our Services
We (Compare Accountancy) act as a lead generator, leads relating to business accountancy services are passed to accountants on our panel, we do not provide advice in relation to these services.
4. Treating you fairly
We always aim to treat you fairly. This means that we will always endeavour to:
- Conduct our business with due skill, care and integrity;
- Never put ourselves in a position where our primary duty to you is compromised;
- Deal with any complaint sympathetically and independently of the colleague concerned;
- Be transparent in the matter of our remuneration; and
- Respect your confidentiality.
5. Our Remuneration
Compare Accountancy does not charge you for using our services.
We reserve the right to arrange for accountants to whom we introduce our clients to pay us an introductory fee.

Our internal complaints procedure is available on request.
Complaints concerning the professional competence of an accountant must be directed to the accountant and not to us.
7. Limitation of our liability to you
We are an introducing broker and do not act for you as agent or otherwise. We owe no fiduciary duty. We only introduce you to suitable accountants based on the information you provide.
Any advice or decisions resulting from engagement with the accountant are outside our scope and responsibility.
Nothing in these Terms of Business limits our liability for:
- Fraud;
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Your Responsibilities
You are expected to review any documents we provide and clarify any issues. If you provide deficient or incomplete information, we are not responsible for inappropriate arrangements made as a result.
You must inform us of any material changes in your or your business’s situation unless legally restricted.
If we incur cost or loss due to your non-compliance, you are liable to indemnify us.
9. Data Protection and Confidentiality
Your information is confidential and used only to introduce you to our accountant panel, unless we are legally obliged to disclose it. By agreeing to these terms, you consent to us sharing your data with other SFP Group divisions where relevant.
You may request us to stop using your data. If this prevents us from delivering our service, we will notify you and terminate the relationship.

10. Other Miscellaneous Matters
These Terms of Business apply to:
- You personally, if acting as a sole trader; or
- Your company or partnership, if acting on its behalf.
No other party has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term.
We will use your provided address for all formal communications. Send any formal correspondence to the address listed in section 9.4.
Either party may terminate the agreement with immediate written notice.
These terms are governed by English law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the English courts.
